Show 'Ghostwriter'

Vendetta client Barbara Soares recently joined the writers’ room for Daytime Emmy Award Winning Show Ghostwriter for Apple TV+.

Barbara Soares is a Brazilian screenwriter based in Los Angeles. She was born in Brazil, spent her teenage years in the U.K, and moved to America at 18. A proud Latinx immigrant, she writes genre-driven fare from the perspective of the outsider. Bárbara loves everything sci-fi, mystery, and supernatural. Her stories always feature strong and diverse female leads and usually tackle questions of cultural identity, individuality, and (dis)connection. Barbara’s pilot Username was recently featured in the inaugural Latinx TV List, a curated list of the most promising unmade Latinx-inclusive pilot scripts.

Ghostwriter was nominated for nine 2020 Daytime Emmys and won the Best Children/Family Award.
